Charney’s nationwide poll in Lebanon for the International Peace Institute (IPI) consisting of a random-drawn sample of 1,800 in-person interviews shows that despite continuing sectarian divisions, the Lebanese have developed a shared vision of their future, as a normal, democratic state, at peace internally and with its neighbors.

The research did an excellent job of exploring and illuminating Lebanese attitudes on these difficult and often sensitive issues.
