This report for the Asia Foundation based on survey research consisting of 30 in-depth interviews and 3 focus groups assesses Indonesian attitudes with regards to elections and democracy, finding that although some of the public know new elections are coming and most know voters will have to re-register to participate, few know of direct Presidential elections.
