This study aimed to identify Iraqi business attitudes toward the current business environment, challenges to business development, confidence in government efforts to assist business, and the role of business associations and Chambers of Commerce, finding that while businesses favor democracy, most aren’t confident that the current government will promote business interests, with a majority saying that the tax system should be reformed, not eliminated.
